With IIGL continuing its unbroken track record of increased turnover and profit in 2019 the team headed out in September to the IIGL 2019 Conference.
This year’s conference was held at the 5* resort of Los
Monteros set on the beach in an exclusive area of Marbella, Spain. With its extensive conference facilities, Michelin starred restaurant facilities, outdoor pool area, beach club and large suites, it was the ideal place for the IIGL Team to meet to discuss how to maintain and improve upon their run of success.
Top of the agenda was the work undertaken by the team to ensure that we meet the Senior Management Regime Certification changes due to be implemented this year along with various break out groups to discuss the way to take IIGL forward including a focussed session on Contractors All Risks.
The Gala Dinner was opened by a speech from the CEO Mike Smith which was held at
the poolside Flamingo restaurant and then the team let their hair down in nearby Puerto Banus. Between the conference and breakout sessions the team also
got a chance to experience the high life at the exclusive La Cabane Beach Club and its legendary Golden Buffet.
Another successful conference was over far too quickly but the IIGL Team came away with a clear plan for 2020.
